RBA Discusses Business Ownership In Rockland During September Events

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Rockland Business Association recently released its September calendar of events and features an array of speakers discussing what it means to be a business owner in Rockland County.

Highlighting the month will be the Sept. 15 General Membership Luncheon at the HNA Conference Center in Palisades. The speaker will be Laurence Gottlieb; President & CEO of the Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp. Gottlieb will take a look into the future of Rockland’s economy in his address 'Rockland’s Role in Hudson Valley 2025.'

The monthly meetings will begin again on Sept. 9. with the Morning Mingle. Hosted at the Castle at Blue Hill Golf Course in Pearl River, the theme will be “Networking on the Back 9”. For those who prefer evening events, Business After Hours will take place on Sept. 21 on the beautiful campus of the Green Meadow Waldorf School in Chestnut Ridge.

In addition to the RBA’s general member meetings, many subsidiary groups are scheduled to meet as well. The Hospitality and Tourism Alliance will meet on Sept. 9 at the Jacob-Sloat House, Professional Marketing Committee on Sept. 13 at RCC, the Green Council at JCC Rockland, Technology Initiative at RCC Haverstraw Extension on Sept. 14, Economic Development and Government Affairs at the Casa Mia Manor Hose on the Sept. 20 and the Women’s Leadership Council on the Sept. 29 at the Double Tree in Nanuet.
