Until recently, I considered my creativity to fall under the general occupational title of Graphic Designer. Then a business associate and friend, shined light on the broad work I do and gave me a new perspective. She credits my designs and marketing on having a large impact on the growing attention to her human rights organization. In knowing the roles I have embraced the past few years for specific businesses and other organizations, my now adopted mentor proposed I rebrand myself as a Social Change Graphics Artist.A simple definition for Social Graphic Design, is as AIGA puts it, design for good. I realized I am part of a growing movement of designers looking to use their skills for the greater good. For certain clients I take an active position in leadership where my skills as a designer, social media marketer, network administrator and event planner are all utilized in ongoing projects. For others, I'm called on to ignite and/or amplify a specific event, program or a cause that benefits communities and positive social change. I have a penchant for working with those who offer social opportunities thru art, culture, music, the great outdoors and healthy living. And I am particularly passionate about human rights causes. For me, its a thrill bringing people together to experience artistic expression and cultural diversity together. Overall, I view my work as inspiring others towards a healthier and more socially responsible lifestyle.A few current clients -Suffern Chamber of Commerce / Torne Valley Vineyards / Catholic Charities Community Services of RocklandOne of the larger ongoing projects -Explore Harriman: Adventure in the Trail Town CorridorWebsite launching January 2016 -Kreative Juice House / Inspired DesignContact: kreativejuicehouse@gmail.com
