Suffern Library Offers Live Movie Event, Free Movies, Documentaries

SUFFERN, N.Y. -- A live performance, movie discussion and documentary films are being offered in January and February at the Suffern Free Library.

The following is the schedule:

  • 3D Goes to the Movies, Sunday, Jan. 10, 1:30 p.m., Large Meeting Room. Have you ever wondered about the music that accompanies great films. This live performance will feature songs and scores from Hollywood's biggest hits.
  • Watch/Discuss "The Candidate": Tuesday, Jan. 12, 11 a.m., Large Meeting Room

Documentary films are shown Tuesday's at 11 a.m. in the Large Meeting room.

The following is the schedule:

  • Jan. 19: Tim's Vermeer (2013)
  • Jan. 26: Amy (2015)
  • Feb. 2: He Named Me Malala (2015)
  • Feb. 9: TBA
  • Feb. 16: Art and Craft (2014)
  • Feb. 23: Ahead of Time: The Extraordinary Journey of Ruth Gruber (2009)
