SUFFERN, N.Y. -- More than 1,500 visitors attended the recent Suffern Street Fair that offered everything from food to face painting, according to Suffern Mayor Ed Markunis.

The event featured various vendors including Gryos, Frankie's Dogs, Italian Ice, Il Villagio, and fried Oreo's. Besides food and fun, attendees also visited product vendors that offered many choices to fit all including custom door signs for kids and young adults, cell phones, Verizon Fios, Glamorous Jewels and Beyond, face painting, and various clothing merchants, Markuni said.

In addition, the mayor said the Suffern Police Department did an amazing job making sure everyone had a great time safely.
