The 10-week course is geared at helping students develop the skills needed to make good decisions in the face of peer pressure.
During the graduation ceremony, students were also treated to an appearance from the DARE mascot, Darren the Lion, and honored by Chief Brad Weidel, DARE Officer Danny Lynch and Eldorado Principal Astrid Johnson for their hard work.
The program works to provide children with the life skills to recognize and resist social pressures to experiment with drugs and alcohol and how to avoid other behaviors, such as joining gangs or taking part in violence.
It also helps kids build self-esteem and communication skills.
