The latest graffiti was located in front a vacant home for sale on Lawrence and Second Street, just days after spray-painted swastikas were found in Rockland County, according to the FiOS1news.com.

The Clarkstown Police Department said it was not releasing information on the incident because it tended to "impede" the investigation.

“Words matter,” said Rockland County Executive Ed Day. “Acts of hate matter. Actions matter. We vow to work with law enforcement to bring these criminals to justice. And we will work with our Commission on Human Rights to show that hate has no place in Rockland County.”

The Federation said on Facebook that it was grateful to the Clarkstown Police Department and Supervisor George Hoehmann for the rapid response and removal of anti-American and anti-Semitic hate graffiti.

The weekend event is the latest in a string of events dating back at least two months including inside a vacant home, on other signs, at a local park, on school buses and even on trees.

The police department said it would release more information when the investigation is complete.
