SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. -- Spring Valley's embattled village Mayor Demeza Delhomme is facing new accusations that he twice pressured an assistant village building inspector to allow a yeshiva to be occupied without the proper safety inspections, according to lohud.com .

Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski, D-New City, told lohud.com that Delhomme then ordered that a memo expressing the mayor's ideas on the yeshiva be altered to disguise the fact that he'd interfered.

According to the report, Zebrowski continued to say that if the accusations hold true, Delhomme's alleged course of action "borders on criminal."
