RAMAPO, N. Y. -- Eager Rockland County sluggers may have to wait a bit longer to get out on the ballfield at the Town of Ramapo's Provident Bank Park, according to News 12.

Crews are working to repair damage to the Pomona field from an ice rink used over the winter. Several Rockland County area colleges planned to play there this month, but officials say the field won't be ready until early April, News 12 reports.

While the college teams have to find another place to play, the Rockland Boulders are planning to take to the field May 21 for the home opener, News 12 says.
