The 5-year-old male was surrendered to the Hi Tor Animal Care Center because of “landlord issues,” facility officials said.
A little shy, Brix has been a house dog and is not comfortable with the kennel life.
It takes him a bit to warm up, but once he does he is very sweet and lovable, they said.
Brix has lived with children and probably would do best with older kids in a quiet home.
He seems to get along with other dogs, but shelter officials said he has not been “tested” with cats yet.
To meet Brix or other animals please visit Hi Tor Animal Shelter, 65 Firemens Memorial Drive, or call (845) 354-7900.
The shelter is closed on Wednesdays but is open the rest of the week from noon to 5 p.m.
