POMONA, N.Y. -- A poodle/terrier mix who came to a Pomona animal shelter as a stray is its latest “Pet of the Week.”

Little Otis, a 4-year-old male, loves people and would make an “awesome” lap dog, said the folks at the Hi Tor Animal Care Center.

The black-and-white “little cutie” could be the right fit for someone who lives in a condominium or apartment, they said.

He likes dogs his own size, but isn’t a fan of bigger pooches, or cats, they added.

Otis and other dogs or cats can be seen at the shelter can be seen at the shelter, which is located at 65 Firemens Memorial Drive.

For more information, or directions, call (845)-354-7900 or visit the shelter’s website by clicking here.
