Meet Timmy, Hi Tor Animal Care Center's 'Pet Of The Week'

RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Timmy, a Great Dane mix, was surrendered to the Hi Tor Animal Care Center in the Ramapo village of Pomona by owners who did not have time for him, shelter officials said Wednesday.

Timmy, Hi Tor Animal Shelter's Pet of the Week, is up for adoption. The active Great Dane mix needs a home with older children who can handle all his energy.

The 18-month-old pooch gets along with other dogs and needs a home with older kids who can handle all his energy, they added.

An active dog, Timmy will need a bit of training, but he has a sweet disposition and soulful brown eyes.
