The new Arc, at 18 Church Street, joins locations in Suffern, New City, and Pearl River.  Each site serves as home base for weekday activities of people who receive supports and services through The Arc.

Arc CEO Carmine Marchionda said one of the reasons they picked Nyack is because of the array of employment, volunteer, recreational, educational and social activities within the Nyack community.

At the Arc, participants volunteer their time by laundering the tablecloths for Soup Angles, which offers meals cooked at the First Reformed Church of Nyack for people in need.
