NEW SQUARE, N. Y. -- Furthering the community's efforts to minimize outside influence, New Square officials this fall adopted several new technology rules aimed at parents, according to lohud.com.
Those rules, which have drawn criticism from outside the Skverer sect, bans mothers from using smart phones, bans parents from using WhatsApp, and bans any cell phone use without web filters. Authorities in the small Rockland County town also outlaw radios, televisions and newspapers, Lohud.com reported.
