Police Seek Ramapo Woman Wanted For Allegedly Raping A Minor

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. - Investigators with the Ramapo Police Department are searching for a woman wanted for allegedly raping a minor.

The Ramapo Police Department issued an alert for 35-year-old Smadar Cohen, who is wanted on charges that include third-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Police described Cohen - who also goes by the alias Smadar Atedji-Cohen - as a 5-foot-5 woman with brown eyes and brown hair. She was approximately 140 pounds at the time of her arrest.

Anyone with information regarding Cohen’s whereabouts or who may spot her have been asked to contact the Ramapo Police Department by calling (845) 357-2400.
