Secor Pond Overflows, Creates Traffic Issues In Pomona

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Rockland County officials are warning motorists to use caution along roadways near Secor Pond in Pomona as it overflows its banks from the weekend's heavy rainfall.

Currently, sections of Willow Grove Road are closed to traffic and detours have been set up in other areas where deep water is making its way onto roadways.

The Rockland County Highway Department said they are working hard to make sure all flooded areas are blocked and reminding drivers to use care, especially at night when parts of the Palisades Interstate Parkway is closed for repairs.
