SPRING VALLEY, N. Y. -- A sentencing agreement is in the works for six month in jail plus five years probation for a Spring Valley 17-year-old who has entered guilty pleas for lesser charges in the stabbing of one high school classmate, and beating and robbery of another, according to lohud.com.
Christopher Bermeo entered the pleas Monday, Feb. 8, for second-degree assault for the stabbing and second-degree robbery for the beating and stealing incident. The agreement still needs to be approved at his May 10 sentencing, lohud.com reported.
He originally faced stronger charges of attempted murder and robbery. Both incidents happened when he was a student at Spring Valley High School, lohud.com said.
