The program is part of a settlement with the state Public Service Commission that directed the company to study the feasibility of such an option.

During the event, company officials will present a low-income discount program, as well as a low-income rebate program. Attendees will be able to add their input to the proposal.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Technology Center at Rockland Community College in Suffern.

“We encourage interested stakeholders to attend and provide feedback on these proposals,” said Chris Graziano, vice president of SUEZ. “Their ideas can help shape these customer assistance initiatives.”

A draft overview of the proposal is available by calling 845-620-3353 or online at https://www.mysuezwater.com/lowincomestudyjune2017.
