SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. -- Fraternal triplets who ran the popular Triple Squeezed Lemonade Stand in Spring Valley last summer are offering a $1,000 scholarship with their earnings to a student who is planning to study business in an effort to encourage other students to become entrepreneurs, according to Lohud.com.
The triplets — Cameron, Brandon and Jordan Shorte — became well-known in Spring Valley for putting in so many hours at their stand and raising so much money, said Lohud.com.
The three are asking East Ramapo school district students to apply by May 1 for the award. Students must have a 2.5 minimum grade point average and be in the process of enrolling in a minimum of 12 credit hours at a college.
