SUFFERN, N.Y. — Longtime Suffern resident Faith M. Leigh died Monday, May 9. She was 83.
A native of Mechanicville, Leigh received a B.A. in fine arts from Buffalo College.
She was an art teacher in the Albany and Ramapo School districts and was a children’s librarian at Suffern Free Library.
She served as vice president in the Rockland County Conservation Society for many years and was a member of the Suffern Womens Club.
Leigh is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harry Leigh; three children Vicki, Chris and Hunt; and 12 grandchildren.
The funeral fervice will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Scarr Funeral Home in Suffern.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
A committal service will be conducted at noon Monday at Hudson View Cemetery in Mechanicville.
