Joseph M. Cestone, 79, Of Suffern

SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Joseph M. Cestone, of Suffern, died Nov. 29. He was 79.

He was born Aug. 12, 1937, in the Bronx, to Michael and Elvira Cestone.

Cestone was a banker for Valley National Bank. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of the Joyce Kilmer Council #1177 Knights of Columbus and the Mahwah Elks #1941 in Mahwah.

He is survived by his three daughters, Michelle Fredericks, Barbara (Bob) Condon, and Christina Mints (Kevin); six grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Hayley, Robert, Joseph and Kevin; and sister, Patricia Moynihan( Dennis).

He was predeceased by his wife, Agnes; and brother, Michael Cestone.

A graveside Service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Airmont Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Scarr Funeral Home Inc, Route 202, Suffern.
