Kevin Shoop, 27, is remembered as a charismatic inspiration on a GoFundMe site recently launched to support his family.

His brother, Richard Shoop, was a pizza deliveryman who in November 2013 went on a rampage at the Garden State Plaza with a rifle similar to an AK-47.

He left behind a note at his parents’ home that “suggested that something was going to happen — that he was either going to be arrested and go to jail or die,” former Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli told Daily Voice.

Kevin, then 23, was so concerned that he and his girlfriend went out looking for his brother.

When they heard a radio report about the shooting, they headed to the mall, where they spoke with officers they knew from Washington Township, the prosecutor said.

Kevin Shoop was arrested on heroin possession charges by Elmwood Park police last summer, Daily Voice reported.

He is survived by his parents, Barbara and Charles Shoop, and his sister, Lindsey.

A Memorial Mass for Kevin Shoop was celebrated on Friday at the Church of St. Anastasia in Teaneck.
