Longtime RPD Police Chaplin Rabbi Juda Weberman Dies

RAMAPO, N.Y. -- The Ramapo Police Department is mourning the loss Monday of its longtime Police Chaplin Rabbi Judah Weberman.

Rabbi Weberman, who passed away at his home in Monsey, was 94 years old.

He served with the department as a police chaplain from the 1950's through the early 2000's, in addition to volunteering with the Ramapo Valley Ambulance Corps for more than 40 years.
