AIRMONT, N.Y. – Margaret Louise Cullen (née Braun), of Airmont, previously of Highbridge Bronx, died Nov. 14 surrounded by family.
She was the daughter of the late Alfred Braun and Margaret Phelan-Braun.
Cullen was a resident of Rockland County since 1963, and a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in Spring Valley for 40 years where she taught CCD and was a eucharistic minister. She worked for Verizon as a division manager for more than 30 years where she was well respected and won many awards.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Robert T. Cullen; her two daughters Judy-Ann Cullen and Margaret Cullen-Reardon; her son-in-law Edward Reardon; and her two grandsons Robert Thomas and Pierce.
A wake will be conducted from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery in Airmont.
