Richard K. Geiger, 75, Of Suffern

SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Richard K. Geiger of Suffern, died on March 11. He was 75.

Geiger was the son of the late Howard Wilton Geiger and Mabel Houlden Geiger of Monsey. He was born in Nyack, in 1941. He worked in his family lumber business, Geiger Lumber, for 45 years until he retired. After his retirement he enjoyed playing golf and bridge and rooting for the NY Giants.

Geiger is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jean, his son Richard Jr. and wife Cate of Springfield, his daughter Kimberly and her husband Steve of Suffern, grandson Kyle, brother Charles and wife Dee of Germantown. 

There will be a mass of Christian burial at St. Ann’s Church on April 22, at 16 Jefferson St. in Nyack, at 11 a.m. A celebration of Richie’s life will be held at the Nyack Field Club immediately following for all friends and family at 335 N.Midland Ave in Nyack.
