SUFFERN, N.Y. – Vito Licata, a former resident of Suffern, died Thursday, July 14. He was 84.
He was born on Feb.14, 1932, in New York City, to Aurelio and Caterina Licata.
He was a carpenter with Local 964.
He is survived by his children, Cathy DeRosa (Anthony), Adeline Piertro, and Aurelio Licata (Deana); grandchildren, Anthony DeRosa, Danielle DeRosa, Stephen DeRosa, Deanna DeROsa, Alicia Pietro, Halle Pietro, Jovonna Licata, and Aurelio Licata; and his sisters, Anntonette Labruna and Christine Samartino.
He was predeceased by his wife, Bingnina; a brother, Joseph Licata; and a sister, Rose Formichella.
