ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. - A Sloatsburg resident had his car window smashed, leading to several items being stolen.

Detectives from the Ramapo Police Department are investigating a pair of break-ins in Sloatsburg that took place in the early morning hours on Tuesday, including one incident, where the suspect shattered a car window and removed multiple items from inside.

On Facebook, the Ramapo Police Department noted that “they would like to remind our residents to please make sure they lock their car doors and don’t leave anything in plain view inside the car that would entice someone to break in.”

The case is currently being detectives by detectives and anyone with information has been asked to contact the Ramapo Police Department by calling (845) 357-2400.
