RAMAPO, N.Y. – Rockland investigators are working to determine the cause of a house fire in the village of Pomona Monday afternoon, Ramapo police said.
Police are not revealing the exact location of the house.
Responding to the scene were the Hillcrest Fire Department, the Thiells Fire Department, Rockland Paramedics and Spring Hill Ambulance Corps.
Heavy smoke was pouring out of the home’s windows when emergency crews arrived.
The flames were put out and no injuries were reported, police said.
O&R Utilities cut off gas and electricity to the dwelling.
