MONSEY, N.Y. -- Commuters experienced delays Tuesday morning at the corner of routes 59 and 306 in Monsey following a crash between a garbage truck and a mini-van.

Photo Credit: Ramapo Police Department/FacebookAccording to the Ramapo Police Department, the accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday when the 1999 Mack truck and the 2015 Toyota Sienna crashed, sending the truck into the building of the former car dealership at the intersection.
No injuries were reported, and the police were working quickly to remove the vehicles to minimize traffic delays.
The Ramapo building inspector will check the building for any safety issues.
