RAMAPO, CONN. -- A Suffern man who had come to the Ramapo police station Tuesday morning to report a domestic dispute involving himself and his mother was arrested, police said.
Police said a computer check had shown that the unidentified 32-year-old had had two outstanding warrants on him from the Spring Valley Justice Court.
He was turned over to police in Spring Valley.
No further details were available.
Meanwhile, Ramapo police reported responding Tuesday to 144 calls, including: six alarm activations, two fires, three medical emergencies; and six other arrests, mostly involving traffic violations.
They also investigated more than a dozen traffic accidents.
The locations of the accidents were: Ladentown Road, Ladentown; Grandview Avenue, New Hempstead; Sterling Mine Road, Sloatsburg; Route 59, Airmont; River Road, Montebello; North Main Street, Hillcrest; North Highland Avenue, Chestnut Ridge; Suzanne Drive, Monsey; Route 202, Ramapo (2); Route 59, Monsey (2); and Viola Road, Viola (2).
