RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police honored their own at a recent breakfast event.

More than 30 awards were presented to members of the department Tuesday.

The categories were, police said: Lifesaving, Meritorious 2nd, Excellent Police Service and Honorable Service.

The department also acknowledged the promotions of Sgt. Chris Youngman and St. Mike Gannon.

The retirements of police officers Al Luba and Terry Curley were also marked at the ceremonies.
