RAMAPO, N.Y. -- A New Square man was charged with reckless driving after Ramapo Police saw him speeding and passing various vehicles, including a stopped school bus on Wednesday.
Abraham Breuer, 39, was first spotted by an officer around 11:30 a.m. in the Village of New Square as he passed another vehicle on a double yellow line, police said.
Breuer then continued speeding and made a right turn without stopping, increased his speed, speeding past a juvenile pedestrian, police said.
He then approached another intersection, turning right, ignoring both the stop sign and pedestrians and went on to run another stop sign and pass a stopped school bus, police added.
Breuer only stopped after he noticed the police unit behind him, police said.
He was released after processing and is due to appear in court at a later date.
