HILLBURN, N.Y. -- Ramapo police have arrested a man with several outstanding warrants after he allegedly misidentified himself while being questioned during an investigation.
The Ramapo Police Department received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the village of Hillburn, officials report.
An officer found the vehicle and began an investigation, according to police.
One of the passengers, a 37-year-old male from Montvale, N.J., attempted to mislead the officer by supplying a false name during questioning, police report.
The man was charged with false personation; he was also arrested on three other warrants from three other agencies within Rockland County, officials report.
