Ramapo Police Coach Airmont Students In Fighting Bullying

RAMAPO, N.Y. – Ramapo police visited students in Airmont on Friday, holding an anti-bullying seminar that was led by K-9 Officer Andres Sanchez and Community Policing Officer Omar Olayan.

Sanchez and Olayan talked about how to recognize bullying and cyberbullying and how best to respond.

There was also a K-9 demonstration, led by Sanchez as he spoke about the day-to-day functions of the K-9 unit.

Other than the seminar, police dealt with 152 calls for service on Friday.

This included two fires, six arrests and eight accidents, one which had a minor injury.
