RAMAPO, N.Y. -- The Ramapo Police Department responded to a report of an electrical fire on the night of Saturday, April 30.

The fire was along the power lines at South Mountain Road and Route 45 in the northeast section of town.

Orange and Rockland Utilities responded and shut down the power supply to the area, which covered parts of Ramapo, Haverstraw, Pomona and New Hempstead.
