The save took place around 12:20 a.m. when an officer responded to a Hillcrest home for a report of a 26-year-old female unresponsive and not breathing, police said.

The officer determined that the woman had ingested some pain medication along with another pill containing a controlled substance, police said.

He was able to revive the woman using several doses of Naloxone with help from the Rockland Paramedic Services and members of the Spring Hill Volunteer Ambulance Corp, police said.

The woman was then transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for further medical attention.
