ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. - Police in Rockland are seeking the public’s assistance as they search for a wanted man who is due to answer multiple charges in Ramapo.

The Ramapo Police Department has issued an alert for 45-year-old John Haggins, who is wanted for charges of obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, unlawfully fleeing from police and multiple vehicle and traffic offenses dating back to an incident that occurred in Ramapo.

Police described Haggins as a 6-foot-1 black male weighing approximately 210 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone who knows of his whereabouts or who spots him have been asked to contact the Ramapo Police Department by calling (845) 357-2400.
