RAMAPO, N.Y. -- An Orange County man wanted on weapons possession charges was arrested this week in Suffern, police said.

Frank DiLorenzo, 29, of Greenwood Lake, was spotted by police as he walked along Lafayette Avenue in the village.

According to police, he was wanted in Bergen County in New Jersey for possession of a weapon with unlawful intentions.

DiLorenzo was taken into custody and sent to Rockland County Jail without bail.

He is awaiting extradition to New Jersey, police said.

DiLorenzo was on parole in New York for second-degree robbery, police said.

Suffern police also arrested village resident Jorge Rivera.

Rivera, who had been convicted of burglary, was wanted for violating parole, police said.

He was also seen walking on Lafayette Avenue near Good Samaritan Hospital and arrested.

He was turned over to state parole authorities, police said.
