SUFFERN, N.Y. – A woman was arrested on Saturday, Feb. 27, and charged with driving while intoxicated after Suffern Police recognized her from an earlier incident that evening.
An officer on patrol on Yorkshire Drive around 10:30 p.m. observed three people standing around a car drinking, and after issuing tickets, told them not to drive and get a ride.
Some time later, officers noticed the same vehicle and stopped the driver, a 49-year old woman from New Paltz.
She was recognized as one of the three who had earlier been issued tickets, and promptly charged with DWI.
