Police are asking for the public's help in locating two suspects who robbed customers and employees at gunpoint at Eric's Deli in Spring Valley on Sunday.
The robbery took place shortly after midnight at the store at 55 Maple Ave., when two suspects with masks, one of which was brandishing a handgun, entered the store, said Det. Sgt. Roxanne Lopez.
The two employees and two customers that happened to be in the store at the time were locked into a storeroom while the suspects removed money from the registers, Lopez said.
The suspects then fled southbound on Johnson Street in a small SUV.
The Spring Valley Police Department is asking that anyone who might have witnessed the crime or with any information related to the crime to call the Spring Valley Police at (845) 356-7400. Information will be held in confidence.
