Vehicle Stopped Halfway On Road Leads To Ramapo DWI Charge

RAMAPO, N.Y. -- A Spring Valley woman was arrested early Thursday after she pulled over halfway into the roadway to let a passenger out to urinate in the roadway, according to Ramapo police.

The arrest occurred around 5 a.m. in the Village of Montebello after a patrol officer watched the vehicle stop halfway in the road as a man stepped out of the car and urinated in the roadway, police said.

The officer pulled over the vehicle and found that the 42-year-old woman was intoxicated, failing all field sobriety tests. She was charged with DWI and released on her own recognizance, police said.
