The arrest came about when police received a report of a vehicle being driven erratically in the Pomona area of Route 202, according to officials.
A responding officer located the vehicle pulling into one of the shopping centers along the route, police report.
The operator of the vehicle was taken into custody and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, according to officials.
She is due back in Ramapo Town Court next month, police report.
Ramapo police officers investigated eight motor vehicle accidents on Thursday, including three in Monsey, two in Sloatsburg and one each in Hillburn, Airmont and Hillcrest.
All the accidents resulted in property damage only, according to officials.
