The incident occurred around 9:50 p.m. at 25 Heritage Drive, said Officer Peter Walker.

The 26-year-old woman told officers that she parked her vehicle and walked around the front towards that passenger side to collect her work bags from the passenger seat. As she approached the passenger door a man, described as a white male with brown eyes wearing a black jacket, black pants and a black ski type mask, displayed a handgun and told her “give me your money," Walker said.

The woman gave the suspect her money, he then fled on foot north between buildings. Officers searched the area but could not find the suspect, he added.

The Clarkstown Detective Bureau is asking for anyone who may have been in the area, or has video surveillance system in area, to call 845-639-5840.
