NEW HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. -- Trustees Solomon Fuerst and Paul Mundt lost to their election challengers Adam Reich and Avroham Sicker in Tuesday's elections.

David Weiss, an incumbent, lost to Shalom Mintz who will finish the seat's two-year term, according to lohud.com.

The seat formerly held by Michael Koplen, who aims to be village justice, running without opposition, was given to Weiss, according to lohud.com.

Bonnie O'Blenis, Trustee in Hillburn, won over Thomas Scott, who tried to re-join the Board of Trustees - he previously was a trustee and deputy mayor.
