RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Parents in the East Ramapo Central School District are suing the district in an effort to force the state to fix what they call "fiscal mismanagement," according to News 12.

The suit, filed last week, ask the state Supreme Court to compel the Department of Education and Board of Regents to take action. The parents want Dennis Walcott, the state-appointed monitor, to receive veto power over the board's decisions, said News 12.
