POMONA, N.Y. -- State Sen. David Carlucci will discuss his reaction to the East Ramapo monitor report Friday during his month radio show, "The Albany Report," according to a statement from his office.

The show, scheduled for 10:10 a.m. on WRCR AM 1700, will provide Carlucci, D-New City, with a platform for him to voice his thoughts on several aspects of the report, including its recommendations.

Carlucci, who is expected to discuss several other issues, will also discuss how the school district can best move forward, according to the statement.

Several guests are expected to join Carlucci on Friday, including Robin Friehling of the New York Blood Center. She will discuss the urgent need for donated blood during the winter months and a blood drive scheduled for 3-7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, at the Congers Community Center.

Jon Bowermaster, a second scheduled guest, is a filmmaker, writer, and adventurer, according to Carlucci's statement. Bowermaster will discuss his three-part documentary, "The Hudson: River at Risk," which details what he says are "environmental concerns regarding the transportation of crude oil via railroad in the Hudson Valley, the Indian Point nuclear facility and the construction of the new New York Bridge."

Bowermaster's films can be viewed at hudsonriveratrisk.com .

Carlucci's third guest, Michael Smith, is a founding member of Veterans Angels. The group will be distributing meals to veterans in need during the holiday season.

"The Albany Report" can be heard on WRCR AM 1700 or streamed online at www.wrcr.com .
