The students were presented the certificates by Ramapo Police Chief Bad Weidel and DARE officer Danny Lynch.

The program works to provide children with the life skills to recognize and resist social pressures to experiment with drugs and alcohol and how to avoid other behaviors, such as joining gangs or taking part in violence.

During the event, the students were congratulated on their achievement and wished "much success for the future."
