The White Plains native, who was born in Yonkers, signed with the Milwaukee Bucks this week after he was waived by the Brooklyn Nets. In his first game with the Bucks Friday, Kilpatrick played 10 minutes and scored five points, helping to lead Milwaukee to a 109-104 win over Charlotte.

"#FeartheDeer," Kilpatrick tweeted about his signing.

Kilpatrick had struggled to crack the Nets rotation this season, playing in 16 games where he averaged 4.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and .9 assists per game. Last season, he averaged 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists.

At White Plains High School, Kilpatrick averaged 28.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 6.0 assists and was the second-leading scorer in White Plains High School history. He was a three-time all-state, all-section, and all-county selection.

Kilpatrick has remained close to White Plains. In August, he opened The Juice Lab on Mamaroneck Avenue, which serves smoothies and juices. At a game last season, he honored Janet Warmbir, his former English teacher, who helped him graduate high school.
