The seven players all signed their National Letters of Intent this week, following a season in which the STAC softball team won 18 games.

“These seven recruits will add speed, strength and knowledge of the game to our team,” said head coach Kristen Sullivan. “I’ve been impressed with their level of dedication, passion, and ambition. In addition to their success on the field, they have excelled in the classroom. We are very fortunate to add these gifted athletes and look forward to seeing them develop at the collegiate level.”

The seven new players include Kim Astrologo, a Mahopac resident, who won All Section-honorable mention and All-League honors.

The other new players are Amanda Castro from California, Lauren Christensen from Salem, New York, Nicolette MacDonald from New Jersey, Jacqueline Ribaudo and Lily Russo from Staten Island and Sarah Williams from Long Island.
