Numerous Crashes Reported On Slick Rockland Roadways

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- The storm system that brought light snow and squalls to the Hudson Valley arrived in Rockland around 3 p.m. and numerous vehicle crashes were reported on slick roadways in the county.

Multiple crashes occurred on the Palisades Interstate Parkway between Exit 16 (Lake Welch Drive) and Exit 18 (Route 6) through 4:30 p.m.

Nearby, a crash was reported on eastbound Route 6 at Route 202/Route 9W at 3:45 p.m.

There was also a crash on I-87 on the Orange/Rockland line that occurred on the northbound side around 4:10 p.m.
