ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A stretch of Route 340 reopened late Tuesday morning after a downed tree and wires led to its closure for approximately five hours.
The closure was between Highland Avenue and Van Terrace, with traffic backed up to New York/New Jersey state line
